Screening is the most common form of separating solid wastes, depending on their size by the use of one or more screening surfaces. Screening has a number of applications in solid waste resource and energy recovery systems. Screens can be used before or after shredding and after air separation of wastes in various applications dealing with both light and heavy fraction materials. The most commonly used screens are Trommel screens and various forms of vibrating screens. Rotating screens with relatively large openings are used for separation of cardboard and paper products and related materials from the shredded solid wastes.
Classification for the Trommel
1. Functions: Drafted for classification, screening, grading
2. Type: open type, closed type
3. Classification: Rotatory Screen
4. Construction: Mild and Carbon Steel
5.Applications Scope: Generally used in Municipal Solid Waste Processing Plants to process & segregate the material from Bio-degradable and non Bio-degradable.
Performance and Features
1.Smooth operation, low noise & low energy consumption
2.Simple design & structure, convenient maintenance
3.Trommel screen sieve can be sealed designed, no dust pollution
4.Special screen mesh design, high screening efficiency, longer service life, less blockage.
