 SHREDO’S BELT CONVEYOR APPLICATIONS

Conveyor belts are widely used in all the industries for improving the material handling and to transport the material from one place to another place. Conveyor belts of different kinds to adopt the specific job requirements. The main advantages of conveyor belt system are:

1. In Waste processing plants, conveyors are used for the automation of the plant e.g. waste material is feed into that in feed conveyor and the material is transported from one end to the destination.

 2. Higher capacity can be handled than any other form of conveyor at a considerably lower cost per tonne. Conveyor belts with capacity of 30t/h and even higher can be deployed to match with higher capacity mining machinery.

 3. Many other operations can be done using the belt conveyor e.g. weighing
 
 4. Minimum labour is required for the operation and maintenance of belt conveyor system.

MAIN COMPONENTS

1.The belt that forms the moving and supporting surface on which the conveyed material rides. It is the tractive element. The belt should be selected considering the material to be transported of a belt conveyor.

2. The idlers, which are for support the belt and to maintain & to maintain a mobility of belt.
 
3. The main rollers are to support the belt and handle the tension of belt.
 
4. The drive that imparts power to one or more rollers to move the belt and its loads.
 
5. The Structure is to support the whole system that includes idlers, Rollers, return Roller etc
